Knole Park Golf Club is unique amongst golf courses in the United Kingdom as it is situated within 1000 acres of outstanding parkland, home to the finest deer herd in the South East.

The course was designed by J Abercromby in consultation with James Braid and winds its way magically through Knole Park with stunning vistas not only of the Park, but of Knole House itself.

The Club was formally opened in 1924 and has always had a reputation for being a friendly and welcoming place for golfers whether they be Members and their guests, or visitors from this Country or abroad.  It was formed by members of Wildernesse Golf Club as the Wildernesse course was being sold. Knole Park Golf Club took over all the assets and liabilities of Wildernesse including the War Memorial plaque which hangs in the entrance hall.

The golf course, its immaculate condition, and its magnificent setting is what Knole Park is famous for, but equally the clubhouse, much of it original, offers a warm welcome to returning golfers or members and their guests enjoying a quiet meal or drink in the company of their friends.

Our conservatory and dining room look directly onto the course and in the summer, long evenings can be enjoyed on the South facing terrace and in the winter a roaring log fire provides a welcome back to the clubhouse.

In addition to the above the club also boasts extensive practise facilities, nestled between the 1st and 18th fairways and in the clubhouse there is a snooker room for those that wish to continue competing off the course, or would like to have a relaxing game of snooker in pleasant surroundings.

Many years ago a squash club was created on some ground behind the clubhouse and this is still in existence with an active membership.

Knole Park is a Members club that respects its traditions and history with a forward thinking approach. The club is managed via various committees that report to the main Management committee that is chaired by the Club Chairman. All administration of the club is carried out by the General Managers office.
