Knole Park and Sevenoaks Squash Club was formed in 1991. The Club has 2 fine courts, open 7 days a week, as well as the amenities of a well-established golf club.

The Club now has around 50 active members using the improving facilities. High-output industrial heaters keep the courts at a pleasant temperature all year round. The clubhouse has recently been refurbished to include completely new changing rooms and showers. There is a licensed bar and restaurant, providing excellent food at good value. The clubhouse overlooks the golf course set in a fine old deer park, near to Sevenoaks Station and the centre of Town.

Here are some of the activities available to members: -

Club Nights - On the first and third Wednesday of every month, we hold a Club night from 7:30 p.m. onwards. Anyone, however good or bad, is welcome to attend. You can play as many games as you wish for a minimal charge. This is a good way to meet other players and to assess your own standard if you are thinking of playing in any of the leagues.

Main Leagues - These operate on roughly a six week basis, with four or five matches to be played in each period. In the Summer, the time allowed to finish your games is sometimes stretched to seven weeks to allow for holidays. Before you start, it will help if you know roughly what standard you are - and you can therefore challenge anyone to a game first.

Competitions - There are Winter and Summer competitions for all levels of players. These include Open, Veterans (over 45), Seniors (over 50), Doubles and Handicap tournaments.

SquashTeams - the club runs Summer and Winter teams of five players each in the Priory leagues (the Men’s team play matches on Tuesday nights and the Ladies’ team on Thursday nights against other clubs in north-west Kent).

Costs - The basic cost of membership is £155 per annum (£31 for juniors under 19). There is no separate joining fee. The annual subscription allows us to keep the court costs down below the rate at most other clubs. Court fees are £5.50 for 45 minutes (or £2.75 per player) with variations for guests, juniors and other classes of player. Special arrangements for Corporate Membership may be made with the Secretary.

You may book courts up to one week in advance - e.g. on, say, a Tuesday for the following Tuesday. Telephone bookings on 452709 will be accepted between the hours of 9.00 and 11.00 a.m. Bookings may also be made in person at the bar any time it is open.
