Professional Shop
The Shop, which is open daily from 8.00 a.m., stocks a large selection of leading brands of equipment and clothing and the prices are as competitive as any of the large retail golf stores.
Societies looking for prizes should contact one of the team who would be pleased to discuss suitable items for their prize table.
Baskets of balls for use on the practice ground are available and trolleys, both pull and electric are available to hire.
Meet the Professionals
Our Club PGA Professional is Marisa Newman.
As an amateur, Marisa was a Sussex County player. She joined Knole Park in 2000 and became a fully qualified PGA professional. Since taking over as our head professional, Marisa has built up a succesful teaching career as well as taking control of the well stocked Pro Shop ensuring a first class service and welcoming smile for all members and guests.
Our Assistant Professional is Leigh Cleaver who joined us from Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club. Leigh was born in Portsmouth but we are pleased to say that he has lived in Kent for 24 of his 26 years! After studying and qualifying as a sports therapist, Leigh joined Royal Cinque Ports GC with a handicap of 4, but it wasn't long before he was down to 1. He completed his PGA qualifications and has been a professional for 5 years. The highlight of his PGA playing career so far was winning the Titleist and Footjoy Assistant championships.
Matthew Davidson has been a member of Knole Park Golf Club since he was 11 years old! He studied Sports Science at University before joining Cottesmore Golf and Country Club. He came back to Knole as a member of the pro shop staff in September 2006. Having been a member of the highly successful junior squad who toured Sweden in 1996, he takes a keen interest in coaching the juniors and is much in demand both for group and individual lessons.
