As you probably know, our opening game of golf at Knole Park was played on a rainy day on 1st November 1924. To celebrate our very special day, there will be a hickory competition on Friday 1st November 2024 and we would love you to join us.

The format of the competition will be teams of 4 over the top 5 holes with the best 2 stableford scores to count.

• The cost will be £30 which includes hire of clubs, 3 soft balls for each player, prizes and a rolling buffet breakfast which you can have before or after your game
• Men - Yellow tees
• Ladies - Red tees
• Separate competition Men & Ladies, nearest the pin in 2 on hole 18
• A limited number of left handed sets are available but contact the office so they can be made ready for you
• Period dress is welcomed and there will be prizes for the best dressed
• Memorabilia will be on display in the club house so come along, even if you don't want to play

Note - Practice with the clubs beforehand won't be permitted due to artificial surfaces causing damage to the shafts. Soft balls only as the modern ones can damage the clubs too.
