Adult Membership

Membership numbers are limited to ensure that the course is not over-crowded and maintained in excellent condition.

 

The Club provides for a range of golfing abilities as demonstrated by the handicap profile of all members: Category 1 (13%), Category 2 (31%), Category 3 (34%), Category 4 (17%) and Category 5 (4%). The Club successfully participates in inter-club competitions and matches across all handicap categories and enjoys a number of friendly inter-club matches.

Applications for membership are welcomed from ladies and gentlemen who wish to participate in Golf and Social events normally associated with an active private members' club. If you wish to apply for membership, please complete and return the application form together with brief details of your golfing experience to date. On receipt, you will be contacted to progress your application.

Facilities: 18 hole golf course, professional shop, practice ground with practice bunker and practice pitching area, putting green, practice nets, squash courts, and full bar and catering facilities.

Full 7 Day Membership

£1021 - £2021 (age related discount 30-34) + £1500 joining fee

  • Full playing rights and access to all competitions and Club matches
  • Use of the practice facility with free range balls.
  • Use of the clubhouse with an obligation to take up a bar card.
  • Use of the squash courts upon payment of a court booking fee.
  • May introduce guests at the members guest rate.
  • Eligible to vote at general meetings.

Membership Restrictions:

  • Limit on the number of times individual guests can be invited per annum.
  • Cannot downgrade membership during the subscription year.

Intermediate Membership (age related 18-29)

£285 - £885 (age related discount 18-24) + £750 joining fee

Country Membership 

£665 + £250 joining fee

A membership category for members who are resident outside a radius of 50 miles from the Club who are Full members of another golf club (their 'Home Club') in the United Kingdom.

  • Full playing rights and access to all competitions and club matches.
  • Use of the practice facility with free range balls.
  • Use of the clubhouse with an obligation to take up a bar card.
  • Use of the squash courts upon payment of court booking fee.
  • May introduce guests at the members guest rate.

Membership restrictions:

  • Main residence must be outside a radius of 50 miles from the Club.
  • Not eligible to vote at general meetings.
  • Limit on number of times individual guests can be invited per annum.

Overseas Membership

£345 + £250 joining fee

 Available to Members whose main residence is overseas, but wish to retain membership of the Club.

Membership benefits:

  • Full playing rights on payment of a subscription for a period not exceeding 90 days.  The 90 days must be purchased in lotsof 1,2 or 3 months and must be in whole months, ie May, August, October, etc.  The subscription for the months of January, February, March, October, November and December shall be pro-rata and all other months shall be charged at pro-rata x 2.
  • Alternatively, on payment of a members guest green fee shall have playing rights limited to 6 times a year and access to mid-week competitions and social golfing events only.
  • May introduce guests at the members guest rate.
  • Eligible to vote at general meetings.

Membership restrictions:

  • Membership may be asked to supply such proof of tax residency as may be required by the Company from time to time.

2nd Club Membership 

£515

To enable members of another recognised UK golf club (their 'Home Club') to play a limited amount of times a year and make reasonable use of the practice facility and enjoy the Club's Bar and Catering.

Membership benefits:

  • Use of the Practice Range after 12.00pm.
  • Use of the Clubhouse with an obligation to take up a bar card.
  • Up to 10 free rounds of golf teeing off midweek after 1.00pm.


Membership restrictions:

  • No ability to take part in club competitions.
  • Membership only open to applicants who have a membership of another appropriate 18-hole UK golf club.
  • No ability to introduce guests at members guest rate.
  • Full members have priority if the practice facilities are busy.
  • Not eligible to vote at general meetings.

Range Membership £310

To enable golfers who wish to make reasonable use of the practice facility and enjoy the Club's Bar and Catering.

Membership benefits:

  • Use of the practice range after 12.00pm.

  • Up to 6 rounds of golf at members guest rate teeing off midweek after 1.00pm.
  • Eligible to vote at general meetings.

Primarily intended for ex golfing members wishing to retain links with the Club;  to enjoy the Club's Bar and Catering facilites and to be able to support the Club's social functions.

Membership Benefits:

  • Up to 6 rounds of golf at members guest rate.
  • Eligible to vote at general meetings

Membership Restrictions:

  • No ability to have a handicap or county card.
  • No ability to take part in club competitions.
  • No ability to introduce guests at members guest rate.
  • No use of the practice facilities other than when using 6 rounds.
  • No ability to apply for Full Membership mid-year.
