Hole Description

"This magnificent hole turns back towards the clubhouse and down into the valley. It's also the start of the most testing stretch of holes on the course. Get through the next 4 on handicap and you'll make a score. The drive over the brow of the hill to the valley floor needs to be well hit, and taken down the right, to set up a tricky mid iron to an elevated green. The ground falls away at the back and to the left of the green, which is framed, by some very old tall oak and beech trees. Fortunately, there are no bunkers on this hole, but the contours and the change of levels make it tough enough."

"We have endeavoured to lay out an interesting 18 holes, some quite remarkably so and we think we have succeeded."
